Confide are currently evaluating the Facetime anti-malware/Instant messaging appliance. In addition to adding a control layer around instant messaging technologies it is also provides data loss protection for these technologies using regular expressions.

In regard to PCI DSS Facetime could be used as a compensating control where card holder data is prevalent in an environment and easily accessed by a large number of staff.

Once the evaluation has been completed our report will be available.
