About Us
Confide was founded by Kyle Gibson and Steve Brooky in 2008 as a result of their desire to provide assistance and education to the business community regarding PCI compliance.
The combination of the two directors skills and personalities, brings together a refreshingly open and honest approach in their dealings with clients. We understand that PCI compliance and the ability for an organisation to be PCI compliant in a timely and cost effective manner is vital in today’s market.
Both of the directors are passionate about the need for education and understanding of PCI out to the business community, and have a desire to play a major role in the setting of industry standards for PCI related issues.
Steve Brooky
Company General ManagerSteve has been in information technology since 1986 starting as a software developer and has gone on to work in a range of industries and positions right across the software development life cycle.
He has been in various management roles since 1992 and for the past 10 years has been predominantly project managing. He has managed some of New Zealand's biggest software developments and passed the PMP in 2005.
He has strong leadership and a management style that has seen his skills in constant demand.
Kyle Gibson
Principal Security EngineerKyle has worked in information technology security since 1998 and has provided governance & compliance advice with standards such as Security In the Government Sector (SIGS), NZSIT-402 and Payment Card Industry Digital Security Standard (PCI DSS).
He has been responsible for the evaluation of emerging technologies and has experience with technologies such as Check Point, Fortinet, Netscreen, F5, Cisco, IronPort, AirTIght, Vasco, SecureID and Eracom.
Kyle was involved as an organiser for the US Department of Homeland Security’s Cyber Storm II global cyber-terrorism exercise.
